Moving forward project

Consort Healthcare supported staff and service users at the Queen Elizabeth Psychiatric Hospital with the transition to their new facilities through a creative writing project.

The project was designed to support staff and service users during the transitional phase.

Staff and service users in nine different ward and work areas participated in the workshops producing a myriad of poems and prose pieces based on the move to their new hospital. The project culminated in a performance evening where work was exhibited and poetry recitals took place.

Successful transition to the new facilities took place in 2008.
