Asset management – we are constantly looking to grow our portfolio either organically through financing and restructure of our current projects or through acquisition. Our team is responsible for originating and executing these deals.
Bidding – our bid managers lead teams preparing bids for sophisticated multi-disciplinary projects to demanding timescales.
Commercial– due to the strong negotiating and contractual element of the commercial team’s work, many of our managers come from a legal background, but individuals who have sound judgement and an ability to analyse and negotiate complex commercial structures will be equally qualified for these roles.
Finance and accounts – the team is responsible for the management and financial accounting systems, financial modelling systems development and implementation.
Marketing and Communications – our marketing team is responsible for marketing communications and community engagement in both bidding and operations. The varied work ranges from the production of literature and audio-visual materials to the development of community strategies.
Operations – as part of the concession team we are responsible for delivering the project on a day to day basis. We recruit from a variety of backgrounds, but often find that many of our concession based staff live locally.
Project finance – the team sits at the heart of Balfour Beatty Capital, providing project finance advice and expertise to the entire business. The team comprises individuals from a range of backgrounds, including industry, advisory and banking.
